Description

Because ASP.NET wraps the entire <body> section in a <form> tag, you cannot use forms in your pages, nor will the FoxyCart javascript behave as desired.

Installation

Copy or download the following code and save it on your server as form_fake.js. Put a <script> tag referencing it in the <head> section of your HTML, after your jQuery or foxycart_includes.js (or foxycart.js) call:

Basic Integration

In order to use the foxycart thickbox overlay on your Squarespace site, you will need to add the foxycart code into the head of your Squarespace pages, the same as you would for any other site. (This is taken directly from How to Setup Your Site)

IMPORTANT Gateway Settings

By default, most gateways require the CSC (card security code) to be sent with the payment details. Because storing the CSC is prohibited per PCI DSS, FoxyCart sends the subscription transactions without the CSC. If your gateway is set to require the CSC, the transaction will fail, effectively rendering FoxyCart's subscription functionality useless.

MailChimp is a high-octane sportscar for concocting and delivering permission-based email marketing campaigns. It's simple, powerful, and more fun than a barrel of... well, monkeys.

This script does the following:

	* It receives and decodes the FoxyCart XML datafeed that is POSTed to the fc-mailchimp.php page as in described in <http://wiki.foxycart.com/docs/datafeed>

What Is FoxyCart's HMAC Product Verification?

FoxyCart's HMAC Product Verification is a cryptographic method to prevent tampering with your product links and forms, available as of FoxyCart v061, based on HMAC SHA-256. That sounds confusing, but please read on and it will make more sense.

This is a short modification of fc-mailchimp.php in the MailChimp integration in order to test your MailChimp API connection.
You should save this in a file along-side the the other MailChimp files listed here: <http://wiki.foxycart.com/integration:mailchimp>
That way the other files can be included (e.g. MailChimpUtils.php).

What It Does

Versions v0.6.0 and above

v060 introduced a true guest checkout mode, which (when paired with Single Sign-On and the API provides a much more robust and powerful method to accomplish checkout pre-population. We recommend using other options, but you can still pre-populate checkout fields as described below. The difference is that pre-populating no longer creates a “one-time-use” user

PayPal Express Checkout is what most people think of when they think of PayPal. Using Express Checkout the customer leaves your site and goes to PayPal.com to login and pay. If you want to allow the user to pay by credit card without leaving your site then you'll need a “real” gateway, as PayPal Express Checkout cannot process payments outside of PayPal.com. (Think about entering your PayPal password on a site that isn't PayPal.com. Big, big no-no there.)
