====== Auto-Select First Shipping Rate (v2.0) ======

**To direct your checkout to auto-select the first shipping rate**
  - Go to [[https://pastebin.com/raw/EZjpEbrt|this]] page and copy the code you see there to your computer's clipboard.
  - Go to your Templates configuration in your FoxyCart admin. Here's a link to that area: https://admin.foxycart.com/admin.php?ThisAction=TemplateConfig
  - Scroll down until you see "custom footer: " under "Add custom header and footer code to your templates" (this may need to be checked to get the "custom footer:" input box to appear). You can paste the code that you copied to your clipboard into that box.
  - Scroll down until you see the "Update" button and click to save.
  - Run a test through with a few of your products to ensure that it works as expected.
