Welcome to the documentation for FoxyCart v0.7.0 and v0.7.1. If you're on a different version you can find it from the documentation homepage. If you're looking to upgrade from an earlier version please view the upgrade notes.

What's the difference between v0.7.0 and v0.7.1? Good question. v0.7.1 contains mostly improvements and additions to v0.7.0, so the documentation for both versions is contained here. Functionality available only in v0.7.1 is noted where necessary. There is also a list of v0.7.1 additions. In general though, if you're on v0.7.0 and want a v0.7.1 feature you can upgrade without issues.

Need help? Don't despair! We're here to help. If you can't find what you need in our documentation please just let us know on our forum or by email. Our goal is for FoxyCart to make your life easier, so if you have problems that our documentation can't help with just let us know.

Because FoxyCart is radically different than most e-commerce systems (in that it isn't turnkey, nor is it an “all in one” solution), FoxyCart does require at least some web design and development knowledge. As such, this documentation assumes at least a passing familiarity with the lingo associated with building websites. If something is unclear please feel free to ask, but if you're a completely non-technical user hoping to learn HTML, these pages will probably frustrate you.

If, on the other hand, you already know a little HTML/CSS/JavaScript and want to improve by getting advanced with FoxyCart, or if you're already capable, dive right in. Please let us know how you like the docs. And please note that this wiki is publicly editable, so if you feel you can improve a section, please do!
